    What's a jew goal?

They are cut back goals- when player presses x to pass to open guy instead of shooting themselves- its frowned upon online really (although if i am loosing badly i do take them if opportunity arises- or if one scored against me, but I try avoid using them as they're boring)
    They also known as:
    Sweaty goals
    Pikey Goals
    Jammy goals
    Pussy goals
    Gypsy goals
    list goes on

I don't play online much but surely this is an example of good play? Why would you not pass to a player in the open?

I would say, because it requires no skill... Which leads to a boring game of Fifa...

    ...jew:pac::p

but seriously- no it is not good play, if you're in a position where you can shoot yourself you should- not pass as it is very boring goal

I once had someone roar "Jew goal" at me one time. I had absolutely no idea what the hell he was on about.

Yeah when I start playing online people are not going to like me, because there is no way that I would not do this.

Same here... I score them. Why? Because a goal is a goal. Boring or not, if it gets me a win, I'll take it.

Dont do it, its soooo boring and takes no skill at all. Take long shots ( power and long finesse) and also running down the wing crossing the ball into the box for 90 fifa mins is boring too

Takes a lot more skill working the ball into the box and squaring it than taking pot shots from outside the box

So your saying it takes more skill to make a player run in a straight line and cross it then to weave in an out of players, time the shot right and getting the correct power?!

Eh... no. I'm saying it takes more skill to weave in and around players to get into the box and to pass to an open player than to take random shots from outside the box hoping it doesn't go skyward

yes that takes skill- but why ruin it by then passing to an open team mate when you could shoot yourself..

Surely because he would be more likely to score by passing to an open teammate and scoring is how you win the game..?

    Exactly that.

Why should I choose to shoot and risk not scoring because someone labelled the square ball method as "easy" and "boring" simply because they don't have the know how to defend against it? It's all risk and probability, even in a computer game. Why risk the chance of winning by scoring the "easy" goal rather than taking a shot which could more than likely be saved or go wide which could cost me the match?

Whoever decided that there is some sort of way to play the game online is a moron. You play to win, not draw and certainly not lose. And you win by any means necessary. I've come up against a guy who'll hack you down in the middle of the pitch when he's defending a 3-0 lead because, and I quote "you looked like you were starting an attack".

Like I said, I play to win. It takes a hell of a lot more skill to walk the ball into the box, beating several defenders with quick passing and squaring to an open team mate than it does to hammer the shoot button from outside the box hoping you get the right power and accuracy, as its a crap shoot. Luck. Nothing at all to do with skill. If you were skillful, you wouldn't have to resort to shooting from distance.

You and everyone else can call it boring and easy and a "Jew" goal all you like. I call it a goal, which invariably leads to me winning.

see I don't follow that philosophy with the "any means necessary" statement. i get no enjoyment out of scoring them goals so i don't do it- and many other people online don't do them either. and at the end of the day i play computer games to enjoy them- like i said in my 1st post I do use them if I find myself losing- and I find they are affective but not at all satisfactory. if you get enjoyment outa purely just winning matches then stick with:)
