Clondalkin - Liffey Valley on Dublin Bus

Is there a bus that goes from Clondalkin out to Liffey Valley?

I've tried the Dublin Bus website but it's quite user unfriendly. It seems the only bus is the 210 that is direct between them and that isn't on Saturdays and Sundays.

Any help would be appreciated!

Also, I see that Flybus bus pass through Clondalkin. Can you hop on and pay a small fee to get out to Liffey Valley?

The 76 and 76B leave you on the Coldcut Road just beside Liffey Valley(about a 5 min walk)ask the driver to give you a shout when the bus gets there.The bus stop back to Clondalkin is exactly opposite the stop you get off going in.

You can get the 76/b in front of Clondalkin post office beside the Mill Centre.

Only the 40 and 210 go directly into the centre.

Liffey Valley is in Clondalkin itself. Are you travelling from the Village area, or somewhere else in Clondalkin?

The 76, 76a and 76b all operate through Clondalkin village and drop you at Coldcut Road, at the back of Liffey Valley, just over a 5 minute walk away.

Flybus is not an option.

Clondalkin is not just a spot in the Village. Parts of Clondalkin extend south of the Naas Road into Kingswood, near Ballymount. The address of Liffey Valley Centre on your Google Map link is stated as "Fonthill Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22".

The Centre's website list their address also as "Fonthill Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22".

Mars Bar, are you thinking of getting the bus from Clodalkin station to Liffey Valley? If so, take into account the timetable. An alternative would be any of the buses that use the N4 at Liffey Vally - most pass Heuston Station.

Going from Clondalkin/Fonthill Station to Liffey Valley - Best route is to turn right out of the station and walk down the hill, across the junction and take a 40 from the far side of the road direct to Liffey Valley SC from stop 7473.

Excellent stuff guys. I'd be getting the bus from the village itself, or the 9th lock junction more likely.
