Where has my money gone???

Right I ordered 50 CDs to be duplicated this morning from www.cdduplication.ie and it all amounted to €165.17
I followed all on-screen instructions to checkout and payed though SagePay. I entered all my Laser card details and continued to the processing page. the page loaded for a while and the a HTML error came up so I had to refresh the page. That brought me back to the start or the checkout process.
I wasn't sure if the money went through or not so I logged into my AIB internet banking account and saw that €165.17 was deducted from the initial €169.05 remaining on my laser card thus leaving me with about €4.
Sine the final page failed to load I wasn't sure if the money went through but since that amount was deduced from my account that means I did pay right?

I'm just a bit worried if the money went missing because this is the first time I've bought something online with my Laser card. The transaction still hasn't showed up on my account but the €165.17 was deducted because my balance is now €4.
do you think the money did go through and i just have to wait for it to be processed?

I'm very worried at the moment and I'm not sure if i just threw all that money out the window

Thanks for reading. Any questions and I'll try to answer the best i can

When I buy something with my Visa Debit card it does the exact same thing.

You don't see it on the transaction history but it is deducted from the available balance.

I'd say the payment has gone through fine. I'd contact the company to confirm if they've received it.

Sometimes the bank put a "hold" on that account, it's as if the shop's machine has said "hang on to 150quid for me, there's a transaction on the way" and the bank put a block on that 150 quid so that you don't spend it in the meantime and leave yourself in a negative balance. It's not gone yet, but they know it's going if that makes sense?

You should see the transaction in your account in a day or two.

    Hi Jude,

We use Sagepay to process our payments so I can give you an educated guess as to what happened. By the sounds of things what happened here was the connection timed out at the final stage of checkout (could be either at Sage Pay themselves or for the return page to the store) As such the retaillers system will not show that your order has gone through BUT they will see the payment when they log in to their Sagepay back end.

If the timeout occurred after Sagepay had finished processing you would have gotten a confirmation email from Sagepay confirming the charge (our customers get one from sagepay and a seperate one from us confiming the order) If you have this email contact the retailer with the ref code within and they can confirm they were paid for the service and sort out your order accordingly. If you didnt get an email they will still be able to see your transaction if you give the time and your name etc.

Either way I strongly advise contacting them directly to make them aware of it as I'd be fairly certain they won't have a record of your order.

I did contact them they said they asked for my card details and said they'll check.
After a while I got a reply saying they couldn't pay for it but I told them its because there's not enough money left on the card as i only but €170 in it to make one payment and since the €165.18 got deducted i had only €4 left. So long story short they tried to buy the product again after getting my details but failed because I hadn't enough funds .. they haven't got to me yet.
