Ok people lets hear your comments good bad or different. We have all heard (mostly from men ) that men are a lot better than women at driving is this actually true and if so have you proof to back it up? i know that statistics say most accidents are caused by young males lets leave then out of this as we know they dont drive safe but lets take the rest of the driving population . I have to say and this is true for my girlfriend her co ordination is very bad i.e. trying to drive into a space but the carpark space is too small for the car . is that just her or is that all women ?

i thought most accidents were caused by women but most deaths were caused by men, down to young mens idiotic need to drive too fast on bad roads

As a man, I really believe the standard of womens driving has fallen. Men are still better, women are just cocky drivers now.

Quicker reactions and more likely to take risks is why men dominate motor sports -

As for your typical A to B driver there's very little difference if anything women and safer and there are stats to prove it.

If anyone says women are better drivers because their insurance premium is cheaper - what they are really saying is that they don't understand how insurance works.

I find a lot of women drivers to be more nervous and not at all confident when driving,I also find them speeding up and Braking for no apparent reasons especially on motorways,As I say not all women but enough of them.

Most women don't report reefing someone's car out of it in a carpark.
    The stats are skewed.

Women are very cautious and probaly more so than men , but is this a good thing ? like driving too slow on a road is as dangerous as driving too fast

    As a woman...

Women are terrible drivers when it come to nervousness, not knowing what to do, stopping randomly, sure didnt a woman drive up grafton st the other day and do a u-turn went she realised something wasnt right.

    Buuuuut...men drive way too fast.

Both as bad as each other but for different reasons.

AFAIK womens have more accidents but they're smaller and a lot are settled without insurance companies becoming involved.

birds are always feckin about putting their makeup on whilst driving, someone should tell them they can't multitask like they think they can..
