UL & Plassey House/ Elm Park Haunted?

    There was a thread on AH a while back about the spookiest experience of your life, and a poster mentioned seeing something really strange in Elm Park in Castletroy, Limerick. For those without the privilege, it's a grotty estate full of students opposite the University of Limerick.

    As a UL alumnus who lived in Elm Park for three years I am really curious about any spooky stories about the area. I've googled it, there's a bit about the white lady in Plassey house, but nothing else.

    Does anyone know anything about the history of Plassey/Milford areas? I know there's a pretty old graveyard and church there too. Really curious!

    I am a Castletroy native - I live five minutes walk from Elm park for most of my life. I don't believe that Elm park is haunted because I've never heard any locals report anything strange but also because there is no such thing as ghosts.

    It sounds to me like that person ran into a pack of Limerick scobes out after dark or they were taking the piss.
