    Hey folks..

Using a new HP laptop w/Windows 7 and trying to connect to the interweb w/a meteor dongle, but to no avail!
I go through the usual installation shenanigans and enter my pin.. the laptop shows a good signal but I can't connect to the interweb!!
The dongle works fine on my pc.. but not on the laptop.
Any ideas.. all help much appreciated :D

    Regards,
    Ambrose

    Check your Firewall..

What Security is on the laptop? Did it come with Symantec/Norton - McAfee?

    SUPERAntispyware portable
Malwarebytes manual definitions update (Malwarebytes has to be installed already, tis a pain)

Or just Delete and reinstall Meteor and see if that works.

    Cheers folks..
    But still no joy!!
Using 60day free Norton security (comes w/system).
I've checked the firewall and everything seems to be in place.
The dongle is working... the laptop is showing an internet connection (data connnection is established) but I still can't connect to the interweb.
I've also uninstalled the Meteor software and re-installed it... but w/no joy!!
But the good news is I'm still chilled out :D fecking technology won't get me down!
    A.
