I was thinking about catching up pheasants for my own breeding stock for the coming Spring. Just wondering if they can be caught up after the season is finished. I presume so but just want to be sure. Also does anybody here catch up their own birds or do ye buy them in? Also where do you buy them from and how much would you expect to pay for them?

Aidan wogan in Slane is your man. No sure on prices.
He has add on Donedeal normally.

As regards catching them. I often catch a Cock for breeding but buy young hens.

Sound EP will give him a shout round the second week of February. Will see about catching up a few myself the beginning of February as well.
