Jackson. Jackson was a bigger hitter, and Tito isn't defensive enough or chinny enough to take it. Jackson is ultra aggressive and won't need to go looking for Tito. Jackson also had a vulnerable chin, but against big whackers like McClellan, at MW. Put a steel chin on Tito, and he wins. Mike McCallum was in sevral spots of trouble vs. Jackson at 154 lbs, and he is as tough as hell. Stronger and bigger than Tito (with a great chin), and as heavy handed. He stopped Jackson, but Jackson was still on his feet.

its a tough one to call....you have to remember that although tito went down a lot he usually got up, except against hopkins and even then he got up and was counted out.......not only did he get up he usually fought better and knocked the other guy out e.g. vargas, reid

tito had a serious left hook, jackson had the better right......this one might come down to who lands first, both have ability to take each other out but i'd give the edge in boxing ability to trinidad so i'd favour tito !

Jackson's power was devastating. Ridiculous and effortless power. I agree, Tito is probably the better 'longer distance' fighter, and as it goes on I would favor him. Also, as I said, with a great chin, I would think he would win. But, it is far too risky a fight for Tito. I would not be sure he would make it past the first few rds, or minutes. He is there to be hit, and hit he will be, but this time by a man who only throws dynamite. No pawing, feinting, flicking; absolute raw power and bad intentions in every shot.

If one watched McCleallan in fight 1 one will see that Jackson had him hurt a few times. This is a BIG MW Gerald. Big and strong MW. Jackson would do a whole lot more damage to Tito, who is a WW-JWW at best.

theres no doubt tito is there to be hit but so is jackson.....jackson is a lot more crude and lacked creativity.....tito boxed until the knockout came so he was more versatile......jackson went straight for the knockout because he couldn't win by boxing as he wasnt very good at it and he had the power to back it up.....definitely a close call but i'd def favour trinidad
