The rules are simple. It doesnt have to be a Skangermobile, old or new, even a dreamer. It just has to be a pile of sh!te that someone is asking actul money for i.e a Shed

    I'll get this started .....

Jesus they can't even spell Alfa...if that's an indication of their attention to detail it most likely is a shed.

SOTW is my favourite on pistonheads. Good thread idea.

Id lay money that this will get sold no bother, Very handy for someone looking for a shell for a shhhhivvic rallycar. No stripping needed just fire it down for a cage. Its what id be looking for if I had time to build a shhhhivic.

It's very cheap at that. To be fair to the seller it's a track car and comes with more or less everything needed. I have the same car, in a similar state with similar parts and I'd want a hell of a lot more for it

I was only looking at this the other day, perfect for someone looking for a track car project. Tbh if I had the cash I'd be making the call.

I love assembling cars myself :D but the blue paint... :(

Maybe I should have put at the start that the blue does not do it for me...

It'll look well when assembled, the blue is a good colour for inside a race car because it doesn't really reflect the light. I'm thinking of going a primer grey inside my car. Function over style :)

    Anyway enough off topic!

    WOW!
I SO badly want to text him "You're the fcuking dreamer. mate!"
Can anyone identify which Ford (if it is a Ford) that is and how much a mint example goes for?
I wouldn't piss on it if he paid me.
Just wait for an even pissier ad in a few weeks time "re-advertised due to time wasters"

Not for the price of it.
    Says "€1500, any offer considered".
Mine would be €150. If I was flush with cash and feeling generous.

Think its a mustang. I'd say the ad is a pisstake though!

    I think it's a Dodge Dart

Correct my eyesight but it seems to have a BMW-esque 'Hofmeister Kink' that neither a 'Stang Coupe or Dodge Dart had. certainly looks like a yank but the kink is putting me off.

It's 60s styling (I'm open to corrections) and looks like something from the rootes group (singer, humber, hillman etc)

This should be in guess the car!!! :pac:

I can see where you're coming from, especially with that little grill thing behind the kink but it looks too big for any FIAT I've ever seen, especially a coupe.

    Per google images:

"Best guess for this image: ford wagon 1961"

However it also came up with this:

    Barn Finds

And that exact photo is near the end as a Dart.

That is fooking cool. Could do with a few mud guards but I guess it would ruin the experience a bit. I'd love it, 600 tops though. You'd have to drive in low range full time with the size of those wheels.

I've just been informed the car in that god awful ad is a 1963 Dart 6 cylinder :)

If it was a complete shed then yes, but this one qualifies more for the "Dreamers" or the "Skanger mobile" thread in my opinion ;).
