Last night I had a dream I was gonna play better golf this year than I played last. I think it's achievable with hard work and more self belief.

I intend to inform you all on this board of my progress as much as possible and hope that you can all support me on my quest. Possibly I might a write a book about it, like John Richardson and Dream On (thoroughly enjoyable read ); or as that guy who had the novice to scratch blog intends to do about how he never managed to get anywhere near his target (in fact he changed his goal half way through) and it will be nothing like Dream On :rolleyes:

Thanks guy. Well quick update, went to the range tonight and hit 100 balls. Quite happy with that as that is more shots than I normally take for a round.

Buster, I'd like to write a chapter on equipment for you.

It's called "Custom Fitting the Traditional Way" and involves me shopping online for clubs that I can afford, then practicing with them until I can hit them right.

Oh dont worry, at the first sign of the same crap as the last thread I will give away a free 2 week holiday. It will then increment to 3 weeks and continue in that manner until people learn.
