    Hello All

    The Wife won one of these in a completion over Christmas and promptly gave me it to set it up but i am having difficulty with it First off it keeps telling me it need a sim card to work anything on it and second it keep dropping the Wifi connection .

    Now i would though you wouldn't need a Sim card in it unless you using the 3g on it out and about . is there a setting in it that i can switch off to just use WIFI or do i have to get her as 3g sim card for data only .

    Wifi Dropping i have updated the firmware on it to t he latest version as of last night so not got a chance to check to see if the wifi was OK but previous to the update it never stayed connected to the wifi at all .

    Any help would be cool .

    Try the airplane mode to disable the 3G altho that will also disable any GPS aswell right ?

    Don't know about GPS, but will certainly switch off wifi

    It will disable the Wifi as well ,setting on this compared to the iphone are annoying
