the brothers car failed the NCT and needs the lambda/oxygen sensor replaced.

    it's a 97 levin bzr.

I rang a few motor factors today, and they weren't sure which one to order, some said they think it's the same as the one for the 1.6 corolla.

can anyone confirm this? or know what part number it is?

he's in Roscommon so I can't get to look at it even.

    thanks in advance.

You can buy universal ones, you would need to see how many wires your original one has, normally 3 or 4.

However in my experience, the universal ones don't suit the older japanese imports. The proper part from Toyota will work best.

Yup go for a genuine Toyota one, if you want to get the most out of the car. I got one a short while back for one and iirc it was in around the €200 mark.

Ring your nearest dealer with the chassis number and you'll get a price
