I only have one, on my left ankle, and thats from surgery, no war wounds.

I did date a girl who had one that she was quite conscious about, give where it was, never bothered me though, I thought it was kinda sexy.

Dont find them pleasant to look at and unfortunately I have a ****in massive scar from the top of my ear down to my throat. Might get some plastic surgery on it if I ever get enough money.

    By doctors?

Anyway it's not the scars that put people off, it's the other 2 sections of the centipede attached to me that freak people out.

One on back of my head (only about an inch long) from when I hit my head off corner of a wall when a kid.

Another small one just over my left eye from getting a slap of a hurley when i was 8

Have bad scarring on the inside of my left arm from years of self harming. If anyone asks me about them I usually say my cat did it.I know they don't believe me but fúck it sure.

Have a deep scar on my knee from when it got sliced open playing football when I was a kid,and scars on my knuckles from when I tripped over a road barrier walking home drunk one night and used them to break my fall.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,826 ✭✭✭phill106

Nice big one on back of my head and big one between my forefinger and middle finger on left hand, both from my bicycle having a mild disagreement with a car.
    I like em!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 14,762 ✭✭✭✭stupidusername

I have one under my collar bone, apparently when I did ballet lessons as a child a big light fell on me, and burned me. it's funny I'm not conscious of it at all.

I now have another on each side of my left ankle, from surgery after I broke it. they're not too bad actually because I used bio oil I suppose. I think the two are all I have. wouldn't be conscious of any tbh.

I have a scar on the outside of my eyebrow, got a few digs off a few lads one night.
I don't think scars are ever really attractive, just not necessarily unattractive. Obviously they do look badass in the movies though:P
Oh yea - Scar on leg above my knee after crashing my leg into a wall while on a motorbike, hah.
    Yippie Ki Yay Mutha ****er:D:D

I've never been bothered by my fair amount of own scars (blade, surgical, animal, burn etc) or anyone elses. So no, scars are fine.

2 on right hand index finger from the many times I touch the iron as a kid (I wasnt very smart).
They're only tiny and noticeable to myself unless I point it out to someone.

You managed to make it unscathed. That means you're fortunate (so far:p), not a freak:D

I have a small tiny scar on the end of my nose from when I cycled into a pothole and flew over the handlebars when I was younger. It's in the shape of a lightning bolt (like Harry potter) but you can only see it if you really look

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,784 ✭✭✭Superbus

I have a big one across the middle of my throat, due to the disappointingly dull process of a benign cyst removal when I was 2.

I fooled a guy for about a week that a Sicilian mafioso held a knife to my throat while I was on holidays as a toddler, in a hostage situation of some sort. He was pretty damn stupid, but we were about 12 so I guess it's forgiveable.

6 inch scar from where my knee cap was removed, 2inch scar up near my groin where the metal rod was inserted into my femur. J-shaped scar on the outer part of my thigh where aforementioned femur snapped and came out the side of my leg. Lots of 5-10mm scars on my arms where I tried to protect myself from the windscreen. Scar on upper lip where my lip burst open after unsuccesfully stopping the windscreen.

All from one car crash. Remember to drive safe y'all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,041 ✭✭✭pdbhp

I have a few mostly small like from appendix, one on my chin from a bicycling accident and one to the right hand side of my nose where I got a stone in the face again from cycling.
One horrible scar on my right hand where I had surgery to repair my mangled hand oh and my little finger on the same hand now sticks out ot an unnatural angle.

4 scars and they've never bothered me.

I have a 5inch scar just above my bellybutton from getting my appendix out and then i collasaped out in the garden was brought back in again with pains in my stomach and they just cut me open from one side to another.

I have two other scars from football. The first happened when playing football on the street at night with cars on road and i chasing the ball and got shouldered into the back of a car and my left arm landed on the back wiper blade, no stitches but left a scar.

The second i was playing on a football pitch in a business complex with a path beside it and some gravel. I slipped on the path and automatically put my hands out to break the fall. The pam of my left hand went through a pebble so had a big hole with yellow fat hanging out. I had to get 4 stitches.

The 3rd and final scar is on my forehead. I was running down the drive of the house and slipped cracking it off the drive spiltting it open. The local doctor came along and stiched me up in my kitchen.

One on my left eye when I got bit by a dog when I was 8
One fairly large one on my knee when I jumped into a swimming pool without realizing how shallow it was
One massive one(from the top of my wrist to my elbow) when I tried to commit suicide last March
Uncountable large and small ones all over my arms, chest, and thighs.

I got a scar across my cheek and nose from being glassed in the face.

I'm older now and hate it with a passion. When people ask me now I tell them I was hit by the boom while out sailing with the chaps...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,667 ✭✭✭Frynge

The length of my ear where half it got cut off when using a window sill to break my fall

Smaller one on side of my forehead when using the corner of a pillar on that one

Messy scar on left arm from a deep cut when skiing, the stitches split and never went to the doc.

Two little ones on the same arm that were my only injury from a car crash. Got them climbing out of the drivers side window

If they all happened in the last year I'd say my life was interesting

    Have several scars:
    • tummy scar from appendix removal
    • long tummy scar, neck scar, shoulderblade scar from oesophagus removal - also scar on nose from where I had a feeding tube tied on.
    • scar from c-sections, not noticable
I have only had people stare at the back scar, I consider it a cancer survivor scar so it is their loss.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,985 ✭✭✭Dunny

One on my left small finger(knuckle) and one on my right index

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 311 ✭✭keithb93

My fingers are covered in tiny scars.
Ive got a massive scar on my arse cheek from an electric plug hole :o

Got a few more on my knee, elbow, forehead, lip, and the back of my head.

One on my index finger from when I sawed through it in secondary school.

All the knuckles on my right hand are scarred from when I accidentally punched the jagged edge of something in my cars engine bay(stupid story).

DOESN'T IT LOOK LIKE A FACE!?

Yes, in a very long operation - they resewed my stomach up as a replacement (my stomach starts at my neck), my capacity is limited but I am still alive.

I've only one major scar on my forehead from my splitting my head open when I was a kid. Its on the side, bout 7 inches and goes into my hairline so not majorly noticeable, until I get a tan and it stays bright white :o Still really hurts me when I get very cold-its like a genuine Harry Potter scar.

Yes, it is akward when I am out as I can not eat much. My husband has crohns and has the same tummy scar as me so we are well matched :)

Nothing much, upper left shoulderblade from a heart operation, elbow from going through a window, shin from landing on a wall and innumerable scars on my cock. In fact my cock is one big mass of scar tissue from operations. The girlfriend seems to like it though.

Have a scar just above my cheek/under my right eye. Never got it stitched so the wound never closed so its a red line. Wouldnt mind if it was my skin colour but the redness makes it look like I was cut last week:(
