I spotted that Aldi have Kettlebells for sale from Thursday 5th Jan
    2.5kg €.99
    5kg €7.99
    7.5kg €9.99

They are light i know but not a bad buy considering the price and there is an aldi near everybody so no P&P. Good for warm ups and high rep work.

Just said i would let ye know

they have some other decent enough gear. i think 7.5kg is very light to start with.

might be worthwhile to buy two of the 7.5 and go from there for some

Went in to get some today (5kg ones for teaching KB snatch to female clients as the 8kg ones i have can be a bit of a jump) in Aldi and asked the manager why there were none?

He said that there was a truck with just the kettlebells in it to be delivered to ireland and crashed somewhere in europe and the order has been cancelled.

I have a client working as one of the main managers in Lidl so will ask him to get them in again as demand is massive

I asked in ALDI yesterday as well, and I was told about the truck never making it etc.. But my store said they would be getting them in and took a list of names and telephone numbers of customers looking for them.

So I don't know whether they were just trying to fob people off..or maybe they will still get them in as the demand was quite high.

Yup... and there's a deal running at the mo where all competition KBs are E2.5/kg. Savage value.

€25 for a 8kg kb is a bit steep from that site

My Aldi said they will be back but may be a few weeks, i will wait €9.99 for 7.5kg

Called into Thurles store this evening and picked up a 5 and a 7.5kg for herself. Very few left at that stage...

    ...whats best technique?

Best technique is getting down to a few classes and learning the basics. It is so easy to irreparably injury yourself with a kettle bell.
