Hello, I'm doing my leaving cert this year and Film Studies with Drama Studies is the course which I think I'd most like to see myself doing next year at TCD. I was just wondering if anyone who does this combination or one or other of the courses could maybe tell me a bit more about what the course is like from a students…

Hello,

I'm doing my leaving cert this year and Film Studies with Drama Studies is the course which I think I'd most like to see myself doing next year at TCD.

I was just wondering if anyone who does this combination or one or other of the courses could maybe tell me a bit more about what the course is like from a students perspective? For example, what kind of modules are you doing? Do you find the tutors to be interesting and helpful? What kind of weekly timetable would you have?

Also, concerning drama, from looking at the prospectus the TSM course seems to be very theory orientated. Do you get to do much acting and performance at all? Do you get to do more as you progress through your degree?
