Aerial down but still perfect picture

    I woke to my aerial lying horizontal, although still attached to the roof.

    I switched on the TV and the picture is still perfect, how come?

    I'm no expert but at a guess I'd imagine your aerial still working because it's still receiving a signal.

    You're probably in a strong signal area and the aerial is still connected to the co-ax cable.
