Galaxy Europa Dialling 999 in pocket

Does anyone know how to turn off the emergency call feature on the lock screen of a Samsung Galaxy Europa. I just got home from a walk and found my phone had dialled 999 for 45 seconds in my pocket. I would really like to disable it in case it keeps happening and the Gardai get involved thinking I'm pranking them or something.

IIRC correctly it's actually a widget. However, removing it will cause the phone to crash on boot-up.

I'd use Call Confirm to stop it.

I think there may be another way around with it. But I wouldn't mess with it if you don't know what you are doing.
