UPC no picture on most channels

Have a very annoying problem with my UPC digital (pace box). When I turn it off at the socket, it refuses to show most of the channels. RTE 1 and a couple of other channels show correctly, but the rest (eg RTE 2, TV 3) show no picture at all (black screen). There is no error message, no sound, the EPG information is valid.…

Have a very annoying problem with my UPC digital (pace box). When I turn it off at the socket, it refuses to show most of the channels. RTE 1 and a couple of other channels show correctly, but the rest (eg RTE 2, TV 3) show no picture at all (black screen). There is no error message, no sound, the EPG information is valid.

I have done factory reset, scanned channels again, nothing. If I turn the box off and on about 30 times, eventually it will come back and then I just have to never switch it off at the socket again.

I'm sick of UPC customer service, tried getting calls back on this and told them about it 2 or 3 times before but they do nothing other than say turn it on and off again. I'm going to have to call them again but if anyone has any suggestions it would be handy to get some channels for today.
