Gonna watch the Wolves v Chelsea game but will keep an eye on the QPR game. If Macheda gets a run out I may well follow that game.

It seems when scores this year something else goes wrong for him, like a red card or missing an open goal.

I think he'll score twice but one will be an OG.

I really hope that Frimpong gives a good account of himself, and possibly even do the Gunners a favour against Chelsea.

Are Arsenal not playing as well today? Why have ye left them out? What time are these games on at?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

That Wolves line up is very dodgy without Jarvis, Hunt and Fletcher, Doyle is so out of form, Ward might pop up though.

I assumed cos it's the late game and it's on the tele it will have it's own thread.

Close call at Ewood, Samba goal ruled out for a questionable foul on the keeper by Yakubu. Couldn't see it as a foul myself.

Im a Man United fan but just wondering why are United getting a longer rest. Newcastle are too..strange though United 4 days, Newcastle 5 while most teams are only getting 2 days break.

Lampard should have walked, lucky to get a yellow.

Nothing else of note going on, Torres looks lively though and has had some good touches so far. Played Mata in 1 on 1 and almost played Lampard in too. Chelsea look good for the win so far but Wolves look solid.

Alan McInally saying they squared up head to head, and Johnson went down as if he'd been headbutted, but that it didn't look as if he had been. anyone see it?

I'd say it is a combination moving matches for TV coverage and police commitments over the Holiday period.

Crouch scores his second for Stoke,

    Blackburn dead and buried,

    Normal service has been resumed.

Warnock waiting for ref to come off at halftime. Sean Derry and co not impressed.

Camera angle was too far away but he squared up and his head went forward. Johnson turned away and play continued. Bennett then had to trip Helguson to get play stopped and it kicked off again after that. Deserved it and now QPR are only interested in kicking us off the pitch.

I kind of hope there was no contact. I like Joey Barton, but you reap what you sow. He did the same thing to Gervinho earlier in the season

That shows you he's not even watching the game properly. I have it on here and listening to what he has to say and everything contradicts the game I'm seeing here.

He just got a yellow for a ridiculous foul on Arteta at the weekend as well, can't feel any sympathy for him.

2 good goals by Crouch .

Got lucky with his first in that Samba fell, but for both he took them out of the air very well and slammed them home.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,648 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Blackburn have a lifeline, what looks like a combined effort from Yakubu and Goodwillie, been given to Goodwillie anyways

the rain coming down in sheets now, and finally a set piece results in a goal, Stoke have looked dodgy for every one this match.

    Blackburn 1 - 2 Stoke

QPRs fate will be decided by Bolton, Wigan and Blackburn, they look the weakest promoted side

    Arsenal team v Fulham:

Szczesny, Djourou, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Coquelin, Song, Arteta, Ramsey, Walcott, Gervinho, Van Persie.

Substitutes: Almunia, Squillaci, Miquel, Rosicky, Benayoun, Arshavin, Chamakh.

Wigan seem to be on a bit of form, hard to see any hope for Blackburn or Bolton unless the transfer window changes anything. Could be another season cliffhanger on the last day. I can't see Swansea or Norwich doing a Blackpool.

4 Away wins so far today!
