Sweden: Wedding ring 'found on carrot' after 16 years

A Swedish woman has discovered her wedding ring on a carrot growing in her garden, 16 years after she lost it, says a newspaper.
Lena Paahlsson had long ago lost hope of finding the ring, which she designed herself, reports Dagens Nyheter.
The white-gold band, set with seven small diamonds, went missing in her kitchen in 1995, she told the paper.

My mother lost her engagement ring twenty-odd years ago and it was found by my father last year when it fell out of the spine of an old hardback collection of F.Scott Fitzgerald's works. (Wouldn't get that with a Kindle, now would ya?)

Is this considered news? Anyone can make up that bs story. I much preferred this thread when I thought it was about getting a carrot stuck in your ass. Although I was hoping there'd be more female contributions.
