I love Pete Carroll, does any other head coach tweet daily? 2nd oldest coach in the league too.

He doesn't look it either. He looks so much like Matt Williams (former Leinster rugby coach and current rugby analyst) it's uncanny.

Thoughts on his performance, so far?

Certainly has done his defensive work with the Seahawks and they are always going to be hard to beat because of that even if they lack a pass rush at the present time.

Quarterback is their huge need and I'd think that receiver is another need for them. I really have this feeling that Sanchez is going to end up in Seattle this offseason and will do well under Carroll. For me its all about the offense now for Pete Carroll. Yes he can improve his pash rush in the draft but they need to be able to put scores on the board and imo if they can do that they will win games without addressing the pash rush situation.

Aye, although Jackson has probably done enough of a job at QB that the situation is no longer precarious, the Seahawks' need a quarterback who can win games which go tight into the fourth. TJ failed in five such occasions this season. Not entirely sure on Sanchez, would his upside be that much over what the Seahawks currently have? Would much rather go all out and trade up for RGIII.

How has James Carpenter been this year?

Started off terrible but that was mainly due to him being overweight with no workouts. Lost 25 pounds and quickly picked up NFL speed. Had your average rookie (OL) season where he would look great on some plays but poor on the next. Definitely improved a lot over the season and before his injury was really playing well.

I actually think that Seattle aren't far off from going back to the playoffs. If they can get a good QB (If they somehow got RG3 it would do wonders) then they would definitely be in contention.
