    Slow news day. :)

While the 12 athletes qualified for London are well documented, I'm failing to find a list for Helsinki. AAI used to have a live list of athletes currently qualified for upcoming athletes (I may be exaggerating - it may have been just for Beijing).

Can anyone expand, subtract, etc on the following list? I've included the b qualifiers who may or may not be taken according to the AAI selection criteria.

    Men

100m: Jason Smyth (10.22 in Florida)
200m: Paul Hession (20.51 in Dublin), Steven Colvert (20.76 in Ostrava), Smyth has B standard
400m: Brian Gregan (45.96 in Shanghai), Brian Murphy and Gillick have B standards
    800m: David McCarthy (1983, 1.46.62 in Lignano), English/Robertson/McBrearty have B standards
    1500m: O'Lionaird (Oordegem/Daegu)
5000m: Cragg (13.03 in Brussels), Christie (13.28 in Stanford), O'Lionaird
10,000m: O'Lionaird has A standard, Connolly and Rooney have B standard
110mh: Ben Reynolds (listed on AAI stats page but think he competes for UKA?)
400MH: Thomas Barr and Jason Harvey have A standard

Possible additions to the above: One would hope Paul Hession re-discovers his 100m form after a few quiet years, Jason Smyth could be added to 200m, Gillick will get the A in 400m, Chamney possible for 800m and Lieghio could get the b standard to set up a shoot out for the remaining spot(s), Chamney to get 1500m, Travers to get b standard
Looks like we'll have no field eventers unless Foroughi can reach 2.26m.

    Women

    100m: Foster has b standard
    200m: Foster has b standard
    400m: Cuddihy, Heffernan have A
800: Mageean has B from mixed race
1500m: Mageean has A from BMC meet
5000m: Britton has A from mixed race
    10000m: Cullen has B standard
Steeple: Britton and Reilly have A
    100mh: O'Rourke has A
    400mh: Barr has A, Kinney has B
    HJ: Ryan
    PV: Pena
    4x400m team

Possible additions: All pie in the sky predictions, but Whelan and Proper should make the relatively soft 200m and LJ standards should they rediscover form. Carey could make 400m flat (has she finished with hurdles?), Galligan for 800m?, Cullen for 5000m, Britton for 10,000m, Harty for steeple.

Maybe Paul Robinson for 1500m also, Claire Bergin for 400m, and the men's 4x4?
