I can't help you find the laptop but wouldnt an i7 and a full HD screen make 7hrs battery nearly impossible? The SSD might redeem it a bit though.

Firstly, this is an Irish site, though I think you know that since you put this up in bargain alerts aswell but you've used $ so I'm not sure.

Why do you want Full HD on a 13 inch screen?

Their is not a chance of getting that spec in a euro converted equivalent budget. If you buy from an American site, taking custom charges into affect your're looking at the below prices which are over budget on lower spec.

    What's a 2 Camera solution????

    Samsung
    Acer
    Asus

I've an Alienware M14x which I love but the M11x might suit some of your needs (not all though)

Thanks to all of you. With the 2-camera solution I meant one camera on both sides of the screen.
I understand that i'll have to reconsider my budget, maybe increasing it to $1500?

The problem is the ssd you wont find any laptop with an ssd of 500GB. Max I've seen is 128GB.

A 500GB SSD would be prohibitivly expensive.

good luck finding a laptop with 2 cameras.

why you would need something like that I have no idea. All I can suggest is buy an external webcam.

hell the whole request seems like a pisstake :p

You won't get a "2 camera solution" on any mainstream laptop so that's an impossible request.

    As for:
    Sanybridge i7 / 6GB / 512GB SSD / Battery time >7 hours / Weight <1.4KG / 13.3" Full HD Screen

The Sony VAIO Z Series is what you want. It'll cost you around 3/4 times your budget though. A 512GB SSD on its own is more expensive than your budget.

Even alienware when they were going never built anything that crazy

€3682.99 Delivered for free in two weeks. Price includes a half price processor upgrade, valid until the 2nd.

Robbing ba*stards consider the battery an optional extra, €129, BUT you can get the Laptop engraved for free.

Going for a 512GB SSD over a 256GB adds €790 to the price.

    Link

Considering all the stuff you get for free and the half price offer, it's a steal.rolleyes.gif

Well... when you're the only person offering something and have a monopoly the price can be as high as you like. The only people who'll buy the Z series are the very rich anyway.

Thank you all for your inputs. I'll wait a year before deciding on a purchase.
