so need a new foam roller, had inteded to get the grid as a more long term solution to replacing foam rollers. Though came across the rumbel roller. Looks like a torture device but could be good for gettin into the deep spots. Anyone got any preferences, one over the other. Much the same price so thats not really a factor.

    Cheers

I wasn't that impressed with the rumble roller tbh, and I'd question it's durability. I think the grid's far more versatile for day to day use.

A length of wavin pipe and a hockey ball are your friend too.

They can be a bit TOO much as well if you've srs tissue quality issues.

I like to use a grid/normal roller as part of the warm up, then of imma do dedicated soft tissue work I'll go to the pipe!

Sound the grid it is so. I used to have a cricket ball but can't find it anywhere. Was great gettin in the the piriformis and the muscles on either side of the back. Must make a new investment today

I'm going to go against the grain and say rumble. I have a grid roller at home, but I find that rumble at the gym is great for getting in much deeper into the tight spots in my back and glutes. Anyway either would be a great investment.

Not a fan of rumble rollers at all, I bought one and thought it was the business for a couple weeks but have since relegated it to the back of the closet in favor of a regular roller and a hockey ball. The pointy bits get soft, and the decreased surface area makes it less effective IMO
