First off, are you sure it's not the battery?

Maybe you should make sure you have an alternator problem before you go paying someone to change it. In my opinion it is more likely that the problem is your battery or something draining the battery. How long has it been happening for?

For the past mth it needed to be jumped a handful of times but most of time just needed to be turned over couple times ... On Tuesday it started needing to be jumped every time to get it going.

Does it stay running once you jump it ?

If it does then it sounds like the battery , not the alternator.

Sounds like a bad battery to me too.

If your alternator wasn't working your normally have a battery light on the dash.

If you can take a trip to the dark side(north side) I'll check the battery and alternator for you.
