Looking for a quality hotel in Ireland

I'm looking for a 5* or maybe 4* that's a boutique/contemporary hotel. The hotel can be pretty much anywhere in Ireland.

I've been to the G hotel recently and must say that it's the type of hotel I'd be looking for.

Nice modern large rooms, well designed etc...

The other half isn't a fan of old fashioned furnishing etc, which unfortunately rules out some of the castle hotels around the country.

    Any recommendations?

Monart in Wexford is beautiful but very expensive. The Mount Juliet in Kilkenny is supposed to be another good one. My cousin got married there recently and she raved about it. Thats all i can think of off the top of my head:)

The Castlemartyr Resort in East Cork is a good spot.

Lyrath Estate in Kilkenny is another nice spot.
Lovely Spa etc if she's into that kind of thing?
