I hadnt intended buying anything after my 3717 arrived, however when i was BTs watch hall the other day, they had a 380 in stock and i had cash in my pocket :D

I wanted to try a rad because of its slimmer profile compared to the luminor case of my now departed Pam000. I have a couple of brown straps on order and will keep it in the box until they arrive.

Also, two new straps arrived for my 3717 this morning, one was 21mm and the other 22mm (which is never going to fit and was a waste of cash!) anyway the black 21mm BP style looks good imo, much beefier and a better match for the watch than the oem croc, i have the iwc pin buckle on it.

I think somehow our lives and crossed and you have mine...at least the watches I wanted...;)

I love the profile of the Rads. Very nice watch.
    Good luck with it.

The guys in BTs are good guys. Pity they do not carry a lot of stock.

Is that a BP? I've never seen a chrono version. The deployment clasp on my BP has died (no idea how) and I've swapped it for the pin buckle from Portugese Chrono pro tem. Personally I think the oem strap with rivets suits better than your stitched version but YMMV.

no it isnt a BP its the 3717 flieger chrono :)

its stock strap is a black thin alligator (same as what comes on the porto chrono but black)

no one makes rivetted straps in 21mm :(

i bought a 22mm to see if i could squeeze it on but no dice

there are a few online sellers that sell unbranded versions of the iwc deployant for around 40 euro, i cant tell the difference from oem personally

    Hamilton does ! :D

can only find dark brown, light brown and dark green though ...and strangely enough they are only listed on the German version of that site but not in English

    EDIT
That strap is a bit cumbersome though ...
