This year was one of the best Heavyweight year for years

Vitali Klitschko VS Solis & Adamek. Wladimir Klitschko VS David Haye.

I am glad that this has happened. I wouldn't regard any of the above 3 Klitschko oppponents as "bums." It's a pity Solis twisted his knee in the 1st round against Vitali, he looked like he was gonna have a good fight with him.

What do you guys think? In the past couple of years we wouldn't have even had one fight of the above in calibre. It was just fat bums taking on the Klitschko's. I hope next year will be good too.

500 million people watched Klitschko vs Haye, which is pretty impressive.

Vitali vs Adamek was very one sided, and the Solis fight was a non event, but still, not a bad year as far as the heavyweight divison goes.

Well, if beating a blown up middle like Adamek and taking ten rds to do it is a sign of a good year, then I'd hate to see a less than good year, or heaven forbid, a bad year!;)

Adamek was a light-weight at first, not a middle.

    I assume you mean LHW?

Anyway, compared to Vit he looked like a MW in against a HW.

I believe 2012 will be better.

Chisora, Boytsov, Povetkin, Perez and Helenius will all have to make a move. Fury will probably be involved in a few more entertaining brawls.

Vitali vs Haye is a possibility, as is Wlad vs Arreola.

Marco Huck is also now a heavyweight.

There are some great potential matchups!

Chisora is a bit of a bum to be honest.

It was a pretty weak year for heavyweights, as is the norm. Great hype for the Haye fight, and one of the less sleep-inducing Klitschko fights, but that was about it and it's hard to say the world picture is any better than it was 12 months ago. Hopefully there's some upsets in 2012 to shake the status quo.

I disagree. Fury is a bum. A somewhat-in-shape Chisora would have sparked him.
