I got really bored tonight and decided to go through each one of the wwe ppv aftermath threads and calculate what the average vote was for each show.

So here are the PPVs in monthly order:
    PPVs: Av. Vote:
    Royal Rumble 5.97
    Elimination Chamber 6.39
    Wrestlemania 27 5.43
    Extreme Rules 7.23
    Over the limit 5.22
    Capitol Punishment 5.50
    Money in the bank 9.25
    Summerslam 7.00
    Night of champs 5.27
    Hell in a cell 7.14
    Vengeance 8.00
    Survivor Series 7.42
    Tables ladders chairs 7.20

And here they are in rank order:
1 Money in the bank 9.25
    2 Vengeance 8.00
    3 Survivor Series 7.42
    4 Extreme Rules 7.23
    5 TLC 7.20

    6 Hell in a cell 7.14
    7 Summerslam 7.00
    8 Elimination Chamber 6.39
    9 Royal Rumble 5.97
    10 Capitol Punishment 5.50
    11 Wrestlemania 27 5.43
    12 Night of champs 5.27
    13 Over the limit 5.22

So no surprise that MITB is at the top with a massive 9.25!

I attached the pdf from the spreadsheet i used to make it incase anyone wants to cross check me. :pac:

The Ghastly Vengeance outvoted Elimination Chamber? WTF
Fair play for doing this Cmpunked. I promised myself i'd try not to bring it up but based on the end of year awards machismo started damn all rated Destination X which is a real shame, it was ace imo.

Vengeance would have gotten higher votes due to low expectations and far less votes in total as well. Same goes for TLC, Hell in a Cell and (I would argue) Survivor Series.

doesnt say much for WWE when a PPV as bad as Capitol Punishment manages to finish ahead of Mania

I remember the rows here over Elimination Chamber at the time. So not too surprising it didn't rank higher. A shame though as I thought it was a cracker. It MITB and Destination X were my favourites this year.

Also, reading the names of a lot of these PPVs draws a blank from me in terms of what actually happened at many of them. They are just a blur. Vengeance for example meant nothing to me until I checked the matches at it. That shouldn't really be the case but it is a sign they are being treated as unimportant by the WWE. Or else it is a sign I have severe memory issues in 2011 :P

Tbh, most of the B PPV's weren't build up enough to get you to remember the main event matches

-- Royal Rumble - 40 man Royal Rumble; Edge vs. Ziggler for the WHC, Orton vs. Miz for the WWE Title
-- Elimination Chamber - 2 Chamber matches (1 was for the WHC), Miz vs. King for the WWE Title
-- WrestleMania 27 - Rock guest hosting, Miz vs. Cena for the WWE Title, Edge vs. Del Rio for the WHC, HHH vs. Taker
-- Extreme Rules - Cena vs. Miz vs. JoMo in a steel cage for the WWE Title, Christian vs. Del Rio in a ladder match for the WHC
-- Over the Limit - Orton vs. Christian for the WHC, Cena vs. Miz in an I Quit match for the WWE Title, King vs. Cole in a Kiss my Foot match
-- Capitol Punishment - Orton vs. Christian II for the WHC, Cena vs. R-Truth for the WWE Title
-- Money in the Bank - 2 MitB ladder matches, Christian vs. Orton III for the WHC Cena vs. Punk for the WWE Title
-- SummerSlam - Christian vs. Orton IV in a No Holds Barred match for the WHC, Cena vs. Punk II in a WWE Unification Title match, Del Rio cash in
-- Night of Champions - Punk vs. HHH in a No DQ match, Orton vs. Henry for the WHC, Cena vs. Del Rio for the WWE Title
-- Hell in a Cell - 2 Hell in a Cell matches (Henry vs. Orton for the WHC; Cena vs. Punk vs. Del Rio for the WWE Title)
-- Vengeance - Awesome Truth vs. Punk/HHH, Henry/Show destroy the ring in a WHC Title match, Cena vs. Del Rio in a Last Man Standing match for the WWE Title
-- Survivor Series - Team Orton vs. Team Barrett, Henry/Show in a WHC Title match, Punk vs. Del Rio for the WWE Title, Rock/Cena vs. Awesome Truth
-- TLC - HHH/Nash in a Sledgehammer Ladder match, Henry vs. Show in a Chairs match for the WHC, Daniel Bryan cashing in, Ryder winning the US Title, Punk vs. Miz vs. Del Rio in a TLC match

the b level ppvs......wwe did an awful job building all ppvs in the 2nd half of 2011, i remember they only had 3 matches announced for summerslam going into the final sd before that ppv and one of those was the womens title and the less said about the buildup for survivor series the better :p

at least the ppvs themselves delivered in-ring, i thought from mitb onwards most wwe ppvs were good to excellent

We should know the line up of cards with a decent bit of time in advance. It would also help the PPVs if they didn't have the same matches happen on TV shows a short time before and after the PPV. How many times have we seen Barrett and Orton recently? They do it pretty regularly with their feuds. If Punk and Ziggler have a PPV match in future, their forthcoming match on Raw will take away from it just a little.

They should copy what they are doing with Cena and The Rock and make us wait for the first brawl. It is very rare that I go into a PPV dying to see a match. Sometime they end up being good-to-very good, but not the same as they would be if they were hotly anticipated. It can just feel a little meh.

agree with you on Destination X, I'd say if it was rated the same way it'd get at least a 7.5 average

i didn't think Money In The Bank was that hot. it was only the Raw MITB match and the main event that were actually worth watching. i thought SummerSlam and Night of Champions were a lot better with solid matches overall. was surprised to see Vengeance get so high but it was pretty entertaining

Completely unsurprised MitB got the top spot. I am kinda surprised TLV didn't get a bit higher, I loved that show!
