just wondering has anyone ever heard of Irish dancing being referred to as tap dancing??? It seems that in China they don't call it Irish dancing but Irish tap dancing or just tap dancing! I am thinking that maybe they they mean to refer to step dancing but the translation from English to Chinese is tap.... has any one any thoughts? I have never heard Irish dancing being referred to as tap dancing although maybe thats just where I live. Is there anywhere in Ireland that refers to Irish dancing as tap dancing??
