I have a query in relation to travel in north India. I am going there shortly and I was hoping to get feedback on what vaccinations if any that people have got.

    Thanks for any help.

Also going to India, I actually got most of those vaccines before for Africa and most of them are still covered except for the typhoid which was only for 3 years and ran out last year. However, last time I got the vaccine for typhoid I got typhoid in Africa anyway so is there any point in getting it again? Does anyone know if it lessens the symptoms or makes you less likely to get it (somewhat unsuccessfully for me)?

I suspect it's safer to err on the side of caution and get the shot again- I am presuming getting typhoid the second time will be a lot worse. It's a water bourne disease at the end of the day and so not sure if having it creates enough immunity...

Yeah it was one of the few times I ate street food too that got me, maybe it lessened the symptoms, was only out of it for a day or two, so I'll probably get it again.
