For anyone from the Nenagh area I have setup a website; www.northtippcycling.com and a twitter account; @northtippcyclin to detail cycling activities in the area. Looks like it will be a busy year in the with the imminent launch of a new cycling team, the opening of the N7 cycle routes, the continued expansion of the North Tipp Whellers club, a Classic race (A1 to A4) on April 22nd and the continued development of the North Tipp Cycle Routes. I'm hoping my modest attempt at a website will help pull all of these together in one place.

Some nice routes there alright, Killaloe, Ballina and around by Scariff would be another nice spin from there.

Thanks for that - the loop around Lough Derg is indeed very attractive, takes you through Tipp, Clare and Galway. I think it would a great sportive but I suppose has the drawback of just one option, it is 116Km, largely flat - with just 2 hills (Portroe and Ogonelloe). I think there is also a need for a sportive in this region!
