    Hey Guys,

hope everyone had a good christmas

just wondering what is the story with new years and down around circular quay/opera house etc
seeing as its my fist year here i want to hopefully go down and take in the fireworks and all from down there but wondering if there are tickets need to be bought and all that or is it a case of get down there and stay put?
would you need to get down there very early as i dont know if i fancy spending the whole day sitting down there...especially if there is meant to be a no alcohol ban :O

was checking out going to Glebe Island gig but its about 200 dollars so not sure with that either...

Im living in the Eastern Suburbs so dont really fancy travelling north

    Any ideas would be great

    Thanks
    Karen
