i was victimised by my manager for about a year, i complained about him to the company but they wouldnt do anything about him, anyways about 8 weeks ago he asked me had i kept the photocopies of my contracts and start up letter and t and c's i recieved from the company when i started i told him i had which i did do so he instructed to bring them in to him which i did, i thought it was a bit odd seeing that he had the orginals, im working there 9 years, so i gave him the letters he said that he wld return them to me with in a few days, so a week later a girl that works with me had a displinary meeting as siptu could not attend siptu appointed me as the siptu witness for the meeting then the following day the company fired me on the grounds of probabilty of fraud, they claim one of the letter i had given to my manager i did my self even tho the original was on my file and my manager has stitched me up by disposing of it, the letter stated they have no prove that i produced the letter but will go with the grounds of probability, i am so distraught about this as i didnt do anything wrong, i appealed the dicision of the dismissal but they wont reinstate me to my job, can anyone please advise me what i should do next

It's very hard to read your post, as there is little punctuation in it.

Is it possible to break this out in para's to make it easier to read?

From what I gather, it seems that you were asked by your manager to produce copies of your contract, T's & C's and so on. When you handed these over, did you give him copies or did you give him the originals? Did you ask your manager why he needed these papers? And why is it HR do not seem to have copies of your paperwork that he had to ask you?

Are you a member of SIPTU? If so, I'd get on to the rep straight away and get advice. If not, then the next step would be to get legal advice ASAP.

Have you been keeping a diary of events? If not, I'd get to writing down your best recollection of events ASAP.

You might be better off having your thread moved to Work Problems. The guys there might be able to advise you better.

Finally - If you're ever asked to produce documents again. ALWAYS HAND OVER COPIES. NEVER GIVE ANYONE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS!!

i only had photo copies as all the originals were on my employee file at work. i did ask why he needed them he said they were getting the documents of everyone, i photo copied what i had and gave him what i had been given by them, i am a member of siptu but siptu have said we could have to wait up to 85 weeks to get it heard by a rights commissioner, another supervisor has said to me the manager has done this to stitch me up as i cost the company to much in wages, is there any legal action i can take agains them

Maybe this would be better suited to "Work and Jobs".
I think it's amazing that you had your contract from 9 years ago! Can't believe your manager would have even expected that from you.
Can you go to your union about it? Defo sounds suspect.

OP - as some of the posters above have mentioned this thread would be better placed in Biz > Personal > Work and Jobs.

The advice you will get there will be alot more appropriate than PI/RI, as a result I am closing this in PI.

    Regards
