    This thread confirms my worst fears. Horrible fall. I was so close to tears watching it live on tv. Sickened. :-(

    I guess I'll be subbing Golden Silver and Lovethehigherlaw out of my Ten To Follow team then.

    I'm just leaving the racecourse,and in the 2nd race a horse fell in front of the grandstand and had to be put down I think,was horrible,couldn't see golden silvers as it was out the back

    Cracking horse, got a horrendous fall. I taught Paul Townsend was riding could be wrong but he broke his collarbone in the fall.

    Very sad and the first time Golden Silver had fallen. You could set your watch by him over the last two years. Always ran well on soft ground and Townend used to get some tune out of him.

    The fall of Celtic Folklore was horrible. Looked like he stood a mile off it and landed on it.

    Townend was strapped up as if he'd broken his collar bone, but he won on Thousand Stars a day or two later.
