I think this gives Bale a run for his money, although I think Bale's transformation was obviously a little more extreme.

He was in Home & Away too, what is it about Aussie soaps that produces actors who make it big? Russel Crowe, Guy Ritchie, Hemsworth, even that dude who plays Jason Stackhouse in True Blood used to be in one.

I like Hemsworth, he's naturally likeable and he could become a megastar if he picks the right roles.

I remember him from years ago as Kim in H&A. Mad to see him in that second picture there now.

Something about the Aussie soaps alright. The men all head to America and aim for tv shows or films. The women all go for a singing career, which generally ends in a disaster bar the odd few.

yeah hemsworth looks like he could make a great career for himself if he picks the right roles, hes gonna be red dawn next november, he also has the avengers in may and a second thor out in 2013,

i think he should move away from the superhero roles and branch out,
