Anyone have one of these or ever shoot one. They are supposed to be very accurate and excellenty made. Plus, I've always wanted a lever action. Just thinking about next year;)

Had one years ago , can't say it was anything special, it was heavy, average accuracy. I wouldn't recommend one unless you needed to shoot quickly for gallery rifle or something like that, a cz/brno would beat it in everyway and probabily be cheaper, the latest version of the ruger 10/22 is supposed to be a big improvement over the older ones either.

A .22 calibre Model 38A has been our coon-gun, kept behind the mudroom door, since the late 1950's. 'sno Anschutz, that's for sure, but after a billion rounds down it, it's slicker than moose snot, totally reliable and, with its $9.50 Hudson Bay 'Special' scope on it, a sure and certain exeucutioner on items of peskiness.

    Buy one in good health.
