Honestly, this will sound unhelpful, but in the long run it's the best advice...

Save more. Buy a LF 170, then you are done, you'll have the best lamp the first go off.

This would be ok to get you started http://www.sportsden.ie/ucaller-eye-handheld-variable-beam-lamp.html You would need to know someone dats handy with a saledring iron and wiring though because they are prone to melting. Some one else might know where youd get a sealed lead acid battery at handy money. That all together package looks a bit too good to be true!

I have a Ucaller 140 as well and find it fine but the Lightforce 140 is genuinely streets ahead.
If you can stretch to the Lightforce thats the way I'd go.
BTW a connector will cost about €5 in a motor factors and you should be able to get a bag and strap for the battery for €10- €15.

Iwould give the Clulite a 10 out of 10 used the same one for 8yrs now same bulb and still going strong keeps a nice tight beam and give a good distance
i use the LA9 double bulb

have lf 170 and 240 plus 2 clulite,s, and endless hand held lamps none would compare with the lightforce. for any pleasure you need a 18 to 20ah battery, as others have said your only throwing money away buying cheap lamps, i have lots of balls of dirt.
