Been browsing pages this morning and found this one:

    http://www.harveynorman.ie/dyson-dc19-plus-cyclinder-vacuum-cleaner.html

At this price it's a steal for Dyson. We set off an hour ago to HN in Little Island in Cork with not much hope but it was there - not on the display though but in the back warehouse so ask.

We have been using it this morning and WHAT a difference it makes to what we have had before... will take more time to assess properly but first impressions are very good.

It's getting reviews on Amazon that it does not suck hair or work on carpets properly but unless you have a Persian carpet, it does the job very well.

Was in the one in nutgrove this morning, outside at half 8, about 15 in front of me, doors opened and the foreign women ran and cleaned out the place, seen the Dyson but they were cleared out within 5 mins, it's amazing what sales do to people, didn't get the tv I went for, but got another nice one, only thing I can say is bring a gang of people with you, those women dived onto everything they could.

Scary. Imagine what they'll be like when someone tells them about the Internet!

The zenophobia aside. This same deal for the same dyson is available at DID (149€). We bought one at the Clery's branch today and as of 1pm we were the only people to buy one at that DID. I think there was a mix up with price lists as they were displaying incorrect lists. I copped it as I had remembered it from their website. The staff in the Clerys branch cant believe no one is showing up there as apparently there was a queue outside their shop in Crumlin and other outlets.

Did you get the dc 19 or dc29 for 150 as the 19 is the sale item . As far as I know, the 29 is 299.

Wrong. Doors opened at 8.45 as opposed to the advertised 9.30. And they only had 10 at that price. 3 were gone by 9.00. Fact. That Leaves 7.

If your going to make comments like that towards me at least know how to spell what your calling me, it's spelt xenophobe and your very cheeky as you don't know me. my friends are from all nationalities and my boyfriend is also foreign. Fair enough I shouldn't have generalised, so let's say a group of people ran across the shop and bought everything in sight, in quantities far more than personal use possible.
