    They are ski socks though so I'm happy with that. I think I may have got some compression top as well, but then I got distracted by the much more interesting toys that the kids were opening so played with them instead.

    I had been hinting at running gloves and socks, Mr Stew had them wrapped under the tree for me. Then he topped off my present with a fantastic surprise, he had gone to a Picture Framers and gotten my marathon medals mounted in a frame with space for a total of 20 medals, 13 more to go! I'm delighted with it as it's not exactly the type of thing you can do for yourself, a bit too self indulgent.

    Our three young boys chipped in together and bought us an iPod shuffle for our training runs, so thoughtful:D, thankfully Santa was very good to them all.

    Happy New Year to all, enjoy all the running gifts.
