Why is it that only girls get 'hit on'
also, why is it that every guy turns into a total douche and cant say anything more than 'will you get with me' to a girl
thirdly, does anyone else hate that this is the accepting norm for socialising and having a good time in our country?

I'll agree with you there. I'd take a pub over a club every time.

I just go out for a night dancing with the lads meself. Hate it when women come up to us fir the shift!

Honestly I was very good to make the move but I just got sick of it cause guys didn't feel the same way to let them approach me. Then I know they are genuine. That's why I let guys make the move, guys don't really like a girl to chase them that's from experience at clubs.

I am old. The slowdance was the route in, back in the day.

Ya prefer the pub over a club, easier to get chatting to people no pressure to make a move when in a pub compared to a nightclub. Late bars all the way woo!

Enjoying oneself with friends and having a boogie and enjoying a night out should matter more than getting the shift like!

Good luck with that OP!

I'm a guy and I get hit on all the time, from a bum pinch to awkward girls trying to say hello.

Happens to me too sometimes but I am a girl so its the other way around for me so that its guys that do that to me. Prefer the awkward hello to be honest. Become a detective trying to find the culprit who pinches my bum.

Do you mean getting drunk to approach women/men? If so, yes, I think it's a shame that most people need to get hammered to say what they feel/think. May be try dating sites or join groups, classes so you'll be able to socialise differently. I prefer to flirt - chat with a woman when both of us are sober.

Try joining something like tag rugby! Good idea for the dating scene!

That's not true at all. I've been approached by girls plenty of times on nights out and I'm not even preposterously good looking.
also, why is it that every guy turns into a total douche and cant say anything more than 'will you get with me' to a girl
That's not true at all either. The people I hang around with are sound (wouldn't hand around with hem if they weren't innit) and walking through the doors of a club doesn't turn them into dickheads for some unquantified reason.
thirdly, does anyone else hate that this is the accepting norm for socialising and having a good time in our country?
You're begging the question here so I can't even answer this.

Stop basing your blanket views of Ireland's club dynamics based on that one time you went to Coppers.

Im not trying for advice on how to get girls, this topic was more so meant to be a social commentary.

From my knowledge alot of guys will simply walk up to a girl and ask if they want to get with him, im not sure, maybe girls do to, i dont go to clubs so this is just from small stories girls have told me
(a common approach from us guys seems to be taking a personal possesion and then saying 'i'll give it back if you get with me)
To me this just seems incredibly jeuvenille and i cant believe its still where were at, im a little dissapointed in society.

lol, it was my girlfriend at it was a headress she was wearing. She just took it back of him, i told her she should have kicked him in the nads too but this sort of behaviour seems really common. I hate clubs though, so i dont want to go to then just so i can stop guys from being an asshole to my girl.
But this **** is gonna happen because its the socially acceptable way to be and way to get the shift in our country. pathetic.

I'm 30. Most of my friends are DJ's, producers and promoters....basically people who you would really expect to live in clubs....and clubbing still isn't the be all and end of our socializing.

Hell, 2 years ago i was in a club at least twice a week and clubbing still wasn't the majority of my social life.

Yeah I guessed you wee at least older than 25, I guessed OP was a bit younger than that. I'm 25 and only recently kind of got to seeing that there is other things to do. From like 18-21/22 it was alll drinking and clubbing. In fairness after OP's last few posts I think he might just be off his nut.

because disco is a girls environment they go there and take MDMA in order to shake that ass off to the flat 4/4 generated by a ****ing 'puter, gone done spiked emself but.. essentially a girly workout. anything else is just a desperate disenfranchised predator

I've been picked up by about 5 or so girls in clubs this year so it's not impossible but still yeah very uncommon (3 weren't really much to be proud of but still).
Lads generally are not good with women, drink doesn't change this at all just makes them think they're better with girls or just stops them from caring, though from what you've said I'm guessing you're talking about one of those holes like coppers or 21s? :pac:

Are you honestly shocked by the negative reaction? You claimed that all men acted like arseholes in clubs, which is pretty offensive as well as being patently untrue.

The rules in fight club were in place to be broken, Fight Club and project Mayhem couldn't have existed and flourished like they did if people obeyed the first two rules. They were anti-authority organisations, which makes the rules rather pointless and put there to see who actually wants structure gone from society.
