Hi all, just a quick post to give my experience with Sky.

A few months ago my sub from €38 to €48 went up due to changes in the packages entertainment and extra and I rang them and they agreed to give my credits etc. to counter act this cost till December which the manager advised me to ring and cancel again, wink wink and all that.

So then come December I rang when my offer was up and I was put throught to the cancellations dept. after a 10 min wait holding, so through and stated I wanted to cancel and the best they would do is reduced my sub to €41.50 a month on a rolling month contract, I said no and they said that was the best they could do and I cancelled.

Now, this week Sky rang with a new offer, €31.50 a month for 6 months with my next month free for the entertainment extra package and again with the month by month rolling contract.

So its decisions as they are due to ring back tommorrow as I requested a 48hr decision period.

Has any else been offered this option or any similar, be keen to find this out and thanks in advance as I am in discussions to purchase a Samsung Freesat PVR and use my LCD to view to Terrestial Digital channels.
