whats my tractor worth

Hi All

I'm selling my '82 International 785xl 4WD, cab and bonnet needs little tidy but mechanical good, tyres 65% all round.

Realistically what is this tractor worth, got a quicke loader for it but fairly old one -not fitted

"mechanically good" description always makes me weary tbh... what hours are on it? id reckon €3k ..

hi, must get some pictures, hrs are 5500

it is really mechanical good, engine,gearbox and lifts etc are all perfect.

cab just needs a tidy, needs 1 side glass and stickers starting to peel off front bonne thats it.

€3000 - I THINK THEY WORTH MORE THAN THAT( 2wd ones are making near that price)

If I were you, I would get that glass done..That alone will make it look much better. If I was buying a tractor and a side window was broken I would say that this tractor was neglected, so what else has been skimped on!

4k as long as no rot is present in cab or bonnet, is the interior tidy, is all the plastics surrounding the gear levers intact? are the linkages tight ? are all cab plastics and lights intact and not cracked broken off?Is the torque amplifier working well not slipping?
And defo get the glass fixed its one of the biggest no no's when someone goes to look at a tractor which should have a nice quiet dry cab to seeing one the rain has been blowing into and everything inside is damp and rain washed

was thinking near 4k with tidied up, my neighbour is selling a good condition 2wd 1982 fiat 780 (with old loader worth €400) and he is looking €4250 so was thinking mine being a international 4wd would be worth the same or even more.

the 780 is a totally different beast when it comes to what its worth. if its really clean it would be valuable because its probably only one of a handful that aren't rusted to nothing by now ... Has he got in on the internet by any chance?

no in local paper, there is some rust and holes at corners and roof of cab but its not bad and doors are sound and really no rust, wide back tyres 80%, he has from new but has 8600 hrs
so these would be worth a good bit more than 4wd 785xl even though its only 2wd..

no wouldnt be as tidy but its younger, its has the xl cab and its 4wd too
