    wow... two completly different cars, i'd say the mondeo, bigger engine, more relibiale, do you need a big car though, tax will be a little high!

    Well i do high millage so i need a Diesel Dundalk to Dublin all the time so it's motorway mile's I like having a big car but it's a killer on tax so i decided to look at some smaller car's as i need a new car as well as big car's.

    I'm in same boat at moment. Have a 2001 Audi a4 diesel. Few small bits at moment causing hassle so was thinking of changing.

    The high tax was something that's a factor, a 1.4 diesel from around 2004/2005 would save me around €300. Plus the cost of Audi parts is high. Something like Toyota/ ford might save me there.

    But looking around the smaller cars seem harder to find in diesel and more expensive
