Wont add google account

    So I got my Nexus S today and it is great but when I try and add my google account it keeps saying "your user name and password do not match, please try again". I have tried everything and can not figure it out. Any help is much appreciated.

    have you tried logging into your account from your browser through www.google.com to see if your username and password are correct?

    Yes. I have done this and logged into gmail ect with no problems

    Im having this issue as well. I have my main google account and have a 2nd one for separate emails ... I am able to log on through the web browser to check it, but the mail app on my desire HD wont accept my username/password.

    I had this problem. Google suggested that it was a bug in Android.

    Maybe try changing the password on your computer and then re try it on the phone? You could always change back after.

    have you set up google two step verification on your account, if so you need to create an application specific password to login into google on phone first time

    So I was using the password I always use but it wasn't working then I found this
    http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Google+Mobile/thread?tid=4554b8bb04535be7&hl=en
    It gave me a new 16 character code that i put in instead of my usual password and it worked a treat.
