I am in the process of starting a new dwelling house that is built into a sloped bank, A retaining wall is been built to hold the bank with the bottom floor wall of the dwelling been built within 6 inches of this retaining wall.

My Question: Is there a product or company that will waterproof this retaining wall to prevent dampness/water seeping in future.

retaining wall need to be designed so as no water will build up behind them.

If the wall of the house is 6 inches from the retaining wall then where is the foundation for this wall?

Did u get planning for this setup?

I would have tought the waterproof seal would be the earth side of the retaining wall to keep all dampness away from said wall - thus allowing you to use the retaining wall as virtually a triple glazed wall build - hence the 150mm gap could be made up of an air/insulation layer.

This set up sounds wrong so cannot add anything else.
