    Budweiser. Carlsberg. Bavaria. Miller.
All 24x500ml cans. €20 each. Customer quota of 3 slabs.
I know there's lots of these threads so sorry for starting another but thought this was really worth posting.

Fewer quantities of miller and Bavaria so a bigger shop is more likely to have these.

All Tesco stores. Stock will be limited I reckon. Bigger stores getting more than little store but they'll have more customers so should even out.

It's being offered by the distributor to pretty much the entire off-trade channel at a very keen price to ensure they don't have to destroy the stock in Jan. The retailer will be making a very healthy margin on Miller even at the €20 mark. I have seen the pricing and the spec sheet but for reasons of confidentiality I'm not going to share here. Whilst there MAY be some stock included that's not Jan 5th marked, the vast majority of that stock is.

Is that a satisfactory explanation for you?

It won't last a week in this house anyway over christmas :D

In this case, 3 slabs should be enough for me.

Got a slab of Bud in Tesco Wilton in Cork there this morning, only about 10 or so on display, and about 10 or so of Carlsberg as well, didn't have much of a luck around for anything else though..

None of the beers are dated January. They all have normal life you expect. The earlier post about the miller being dated January is incorrect.

    Any Coors light?

I remember when its was 24 for 24 euros, 20 is grand,
Fella got me strawberry cider last time bleugh.

It's strange how many offers and sales are on before Christmas this year,
last year the tins of roses and such were half price well before xmas for a short period it seems like theyve been on offer for weeks and every where I go for clothes there seems to be a sale on.

I know half price deals or whatever are different to sales but it really feels like a sign of the times for me.
