    :(:(:(

Thin, bearded baby missing in Waterford.
Baby Jesus missing in Waterford city
Gardaí in Waterford are investigating the theft of a statue of baby Jesus from a crib in the city.
Local priest Fr Gerry Langford is appealing for the safe return of the figure, which was stolen in the early hours of yesterday morning.
This is the first year there has been an outdoor crib outside the Cathedral on Barronstrand Street.
The crib, made by local FÁS workers, was officially opened two weeks ago and it was decided to leave it unprotected overnight with the hope that nobody would damage it.
The cathedral had also decided to put Jesus in the crib before Christmas Day as the response from children and passers-by was described as excellent.
However early yesterday the baby Jesus figure was stolen.
Gardaí are checking CCTV footage to see if they can find out who was behind the theft.

Have they looked in Tipperary? Surely when a hurling county Messiah goes missing, the glorious mystery will be resolved with The Finding of the Child Jesus in Semple.

    Sorry.

Sure is. I didn't even think they were called FAS anymore. Does this mean they still have problems in there organisation? I thought the name change fixed everything but if it's still be called FAS maybe the problems are still there:eek:

No doubt some religious nutjobs in the christian media (aka. Alive and Irish Catholic) will put it down to something like "the secularist culture of no respect", or "this is the sort of thing that happens in a culture of secularism which has lost it's way and shows no respect for....", any old excuse to bash the supposed old secular takeover bogeyman.

Is he still missing? Pity it's so cloudy now or an unusually bright star in the sky might give away his location.:):):)

So if somebody steals something which you've invested time and effort to make from your property, you'll laugh it off?
