Is Istanbul Kebab house still open?

I'm home for Christmas on Thursday and absolutely dying for a chicken meat and chips with extra chilli and garlic sauce!

What's your favorite after-drinking meal and why?! :D

On a related note, I haven't found any decent kebab places in the UK. I thought this country was supposed to be full of them. The first time I got one I was asked what sauce I wanted on it and said "eh, garlic and chilli obviously". They then put on some fake garlic and fake chilli sauce from a bottle. Rotten. The next time I asked what do people usually put on it and they said ketchup and mayonnaise.

I haven't gotten one over here since. Can't wait for some Istanbul! And a taco chip from Abbrakebabra!

He does but it's purely decorative.

And jonny I'm glad you're not staying in my house. Istanbul does your housemates no favours.

I have to say as a Kebab connoisseur that Istanbul is muck. Go to Zaytoon in Dublin and you'll see what a real kebab is like. If there was a Zaytoon in Waterford I'd be twice the size I am now :D
