Hi I am thinking of purchasing an embossing kit, nothing too expensive just a beginners thing, however as i know little about it I am looking for some advice, which is best wet embossing or dry embossing in your opinion? Thanks

Embossing can be done in a lot of different ways, depending on what kind of craft you're thinking of.
Dry embossing can be done on card, metal, etc with a ballpoint tool or with a machine (variety of sizes available, for home or professional use).
It can be done freehand or with stencils (again, by hand or in a machine).

By wet embossing, do you mean with rubber stamps and ink & powder?
Or you can use plaster with stencils.

Thanks for your reply, I would be using it mainly for scrapbooking and a bit of card making! Any wet embossing i had heard of was with ink and powder?
